I have a 6509 that is running routing. my pc is plugged into a port on it. it has my mac but not my IP.
thoughts? what is missing? I click edit on the 6500 and it has polling every 45 min for both port/routing.
thanks
my install was jacked due to the way I originally installed (main on other machine besides NPM, then moved to NPM).
resolved by uninstalling all UDT and dropping tables, rebooting all systems, then installing again.
It may not be detecting the correct connection type. If you change the connection type from direct to all, do you see your device?
We made some improvements in the connection type detection in the latest build which I have just sent to you (PR2).
Let me know how it looks after installing that.
installing update now. I'll let you know.
I downloaded and install UDT 1.0 PR2 this morning. I'm having the same issue.
I'm monitoring all ports an a Cisco Catalyst 6509 and can only see MAC addresses.
I'm having problems with detail information too...
I have an Avaya 8600 that I see nothing on only the port number. I have an Avaya 425 that I only see port number, mac and vlan on. I'll try some other models of switches and see what i get.
