Is there a way to define the monitoring settings for the Agent when doing a mass deploy? We would like to deploy via SCCM, but do not want to monitor any applications.
Let me see if I understand what you are looking for, you want to install the agent from SCCM? or from solarwinds and dont want to use any SAM monitor?
Installing from SCCM. I have the SCCM deployment working, but we do not want to use SAM monitoring. When you deploy the agent manually from SolarWinds, it will ask you what resources you want to monitor before adding the node.
umm so I think you can download the installer from the webconsole, I imagine you want to set the cpu, mem, and drive monitoring, so the way I think you can do is create a alert for new adding and add all this automatic, this is just an idea, for example I remember I created and allert that fills custom properties that my network team forget to fill.

I'm not sure of that interaction, but I think you would just be able to use the same network discovery you're used to
