Creating daily Syslogs files in the Logs folder

Hi, I am running Kiwi Syslog server 9.2 and I have been trying to configure my log files by date.

What I need is to be able to have a log file created for each date.

(E.g Apr 14 2011, Apr 15 2011... etc.)

In my log folder it just displays a catch all for the date that the syslog application is started.

The log files only seem to be created whenever I access Syslog. I need it to start automatically and for each day of the week.

I have searched the form and reviewed the Help guide.

Any ideas?

Hi Smithomas23 - I think what you're looking for is log file rotation, and it's only available in the paid version. Here are the instructions, but if you don't have the paid version the feature will not function for you.
