manage local password of device using ncm or api

hi,

I want to find a way to change password of bulk of nodes using ncm and save last password seted on any nodes in ncm. some nodes may not be available on this time and we cann't change password. I want to aware of last password seted on device and access to this be possible for admins. there is any solution for this?

Probably not the best forum for this question, maybe the NCM forum or the API forum

Which pass are you referring to?
- If it's the pass set in solarwinds to access the device with NCM, there's an API for credential updates, you'd update where credential URI = whatever you're targeting
- If it's some pass set on the device to do something else, I guess you'd be able to change that by pushing a config update in NCM
- If it's a SNMPv3 pass or something that's simmilar to the first one
