So... I've used the SWQL editor provided by Solarwinds for many years. I've used it in many different work environments, on different windows versions, different machines and via RDP.
When I'm working with queries, I often modify them in significant ways. I do a "control-A" to select a query and "control-V" to paste it. Alternatively I highlight the part I want to copy and then right click on the highlighted part to "copy" the content.
The real problem here is that NONE of this ever actually works. You can't get it into the cut buffer by right clicking on selected text, and you can't do it via control-A / Control-C
The ONLY cut and paste functions that actually work (most of the time) are the cut and paste functions in the DROP DOWN list in the editor. Even then, it's hit and miss.
For years, I've thought that it was just a problem with me, or the environment I was in at the time. It's become pretty clear that it's not me or my environment, it's a problem with the editor. Has anyone else experienced this difficulties with cutting and pasting in the SWQL editor?
