Missing Attachments in the Scheduled Reports after Assigning SSL Certificate

Hello Team,

Greetings!

We are facing issue with attahments in the scheduled reports, not receiving them by email. The issue happed after we assigned SSL Certificate on IIS for SolarWinds Console.

Unable to retrieve url: https://XXXXXXXXX:443/Orion/Report.aspx?ReportID=11163 using Excel type. sometimes the same for pdf files. (Self-Sign Certificate works fine with attachments but not secure).

We have HA for the primary polling engine and we created two CSR files with two certificates.

Please advise how to resolve this issue.

Thanks for your answer! honestly I tried all SolarWinds Articles with no success.

At this moment, I am getting only pdf file and the issue with excel attachments.

I checked ActionExecutionReport.log and I found the below.

2024-07-10 14:15:20,900 [162] ERROR ReportingLogger - (null) Error during fetching url: XXXXXXX:443/.../Report.aspx using Excel type
System.Net.WebException: The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel. ---> System.Security.Authentication.AuthenticationException: The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure.

Pls advise for any recommendations!

Best to open a support case. If the article provided above did not resolve the issue, there might be some other cause. For example, one of my assigned PSL2 accounts had the same issue, but it involves an HA. Their issue was resolved by making sure the FQDN in the Engines table of the SolarWindsOrion database matches the current active server. Unfortunately if a fail over happens they have to do the work around, but we have submitted this in JIRA already. Scheduled reports are now coming in without any problems.
