Routing Table in Network Tab is not updating

We have an issue where BGP Neighbors have been bouncing without our knowledge. I looked into the Node Details and see that the Neighbors report established for more than 12 months, but the router showing up/down for 3d20hr. I checked the polling and resources, and they are all correct with BGP monitoring selected. Any advice on how to refresh these neighbors, and get these to report as down when it bounces?

Check if re-adding the device helps, add it on a different poller and see if that fixes your issue. Its a rare scenario but yup it does happen sometimes - You could try rediscovering the existing node but I would suggest you to first check by re-adding it on a different poller just to be sure it isn't an issue with SolarWinds. If re-adding the same device on different poller as well doesnt work then it could be something on the end device. Hope this helps.

I can attempt to re-add. Are you aware of historical data being lost (event history, configs, etc) when doing this? This is somewhat a critical device for us.

You are absolutely right, if you need historical data then re-add is not an option. As soon as you delete the current node/device historical data will be lost.

Just to test if something is wrong with the existing device that is currently polled in SolarWinds, re-add it onto another poller. Don't delete the existing one. Re-add check if that issue gets resolved, if it does - then you could try a few things on the existing node like rediscovery, if that doesnt work then do a list resource on existing node uncheck neighbors save it. Then after a few polls like say 15 to 20 minutes do a list resource again on the existing node and add/re-check neighbors and save it - check if that resolves the issue. If nothing helps then raise a support case. You can prove your point by showing the evidence on the node that you re-added onto another poller if everything is working there - if it isnt working there as well then the issue seems to be on the device end and not SolarWinds - Hope this helps.
