Cannot seem to get layer 2 information. Only layer 3 appears. We have Extreme Networks 8806/650/450.

I have been working to map our network over the past two days. The organization have configure NTP and Orion and have been attempting to get it in some useful state, to no avail. The resulting Layer 3 topology does not represent what the Network Engineers believe. I have been trying to pull in our layer 2 and have had no luck. When I map the discovery, there appears to be only layer 3 connectivity represented.

What type of layer 2 information are you looking for?

?Primarily, I am looking to simply map those connections between nodes. The issue is that the L3 representation that we get does not coincide with the way our network engineers believe how the routing happens. have been told that in some cases we use a layer 2 vlan and I have not been able to see them.

If you right-click on a node and select Node Properties, you will get a pop up window that has a VLAN Data tab. This will provide the VLAN ID aolng with all ports in that VLAN.
