AppInsight For IIS

I've raised this with support several times over the past couple of years. Does anyone know why the AppInsight for IIS has to be redeployed frequently for no apparent reason? I find many of them in an unknown state. Typically to fix it, I have to list resources, remove it and save. Then I have to list resources again, force the refresh and add it back. Usually after the initial poll, it comes back fully. I'm kind of tired of doing this over and over agian.

I don't blame you this sounds annoying. This should not happen and doesn't in most environments. Could it be a password change issue on the service account used to monitor these IIS servers? Or security software stopping SolarWinds accessing the IIS servers for some reason until you manually request access again?
All you are doing by removing and readding the IIS monitoring is to force SolarWinds to use credentials to login to IIS and gather the stats for AppInsight IIS again. Sounds like a weird one that support may struggle to resolve for you as it does sound like an environmental issue. Apologies for not being more specific.

Definitely not a password issue. I've been able to rule that out. I'm still open to the possibility of a security software and that team makes it hard to drill into anything.

I get the same sense and so I thought by removing and readding via list resources, I thought I might be triggering the redeployment of a self-signed cert? In some cases, I find the issue is with the "Default Web Site" as that is the site showing the unknow status. When I drill into it, all the metrics are green
