I'm pretty sure there is no way to do this in the base Solarwinds product, but wondering if anyone has found a way to accomplish same using any method.
During the day, when stores are open, I would like alerts to kick off pretty quickly, say 5 minutes. But in the middle of the night when the store is closed, I'd like to have a threshold of maybe 30 minutes before the alert kicks off.
The only way I can think of to accomplish this is to make two alerts which are active at different times of day. But then at the transition to store open time, the "overnight" alert would resolve and a new alert would be generated for the "daytime" alert same at closing time.
The other thing I was thinking might work would be to make two copies of the actions, have one set "daytime" execute immediately. And have a second copy "overnight" actions activate after a 25 minute escalation. Use a system SQL script to disable the daytime actions overnight and activate the overnight ones. Reverse at the other end.
Anyhow if anyone has had a similar ask in the past and found an awesome way to accomplish it, I would love to hear about what it was.
Thanks
