Querying Classic Dashboards

Hello Thwack community,

Could someone please help me with what is probably a super simple request?

I can't seem to find my Classic Dashboards anywhere in the database. Am I just missing the table name? Why wouldn't these be stored in Orion.Dashboards.Instances? I have only two "Modern" Dashboards, and these show up when querying that table, but I can't find the Classic ones anywhere, and I have a ton of them.

@ConnorS68 , Classic dashboard, or views, are built completely different compared to the newer "dashboards".

You would need to look through the tables for views, resources, and the properties for each.

The ResourceProperties make up the Resources, and the Resources live on a View.

No worries, we've all been there. Well, at least I've been there, a bunch, nearly enough to be considered a permanent resident. lol

A long time ago, I had put out some SWQL stuff to help me manage my views, back before dashboards were even a consideration. I found a few links to those old posts, but it looks like some of the images and various things were lost or jumbled up with other stuff due to the numerous THWACK platform changes over the years.

Just in case anything could be helpful for you, or anyone else wandering around this path, I'll leave those links below. But, like I said, after a decade or so, some of that info has probably changed a little bit.

Compared to the oob options, I've found this setup to help me jump around views, resources, and the data in between. I can easily find which queries are running, where they're running/living, and a bunch of other stuff. And, because it's all just SWQL, you can easily add/remove whatever you want and customize it to your needs.
