View SWQL query in Orion NPM

Hi All,

I was not aware of Queries but I want to see the queries to get the required data from Orion NPM.Based on the queries want to automate it with python orionsdk.

Please suggest a way that I can able to view the SWQL queries for the required data available in Orion NPM Web UI.

You can access the database via the API.

Please read the SDK documentation GitHub - solarwinds/OrionSDK: SDK for the SolarWinds Orion platform, including tools, documentation, and samples in PowerShell, C#, Go, Perl, and Java.

If you want to test your SWQL queries then use the SWQL studio that is part of the OrionSDK download from the site bobmarley mentioned above.

Your question asked if there was a way to run the SWQL in the WebUI. There is but to be clear this is *not* recommended! Use for testing only.

You can enable 'Hubble' in the Log Adjuster.

On pages where it works [NB it doesn't work on all] you will see an additional link appears. Click that and it takes you to a page of queries, where you can then work out which one you need.
