Alert links in email do not open Solarwinds

Non of the links I get from Solarwinds will work. I can get to Solarwinds via the basic url of solarwinds.(our domain ) but the links like https://solarwinds.(our domain):443/Orion/View.aspx?NetObject=AAT:7952 do not open anything and will time out.

I am not typing our domain and supstituting "our domain".

What can I look into to get these links to go to our SW server. Even pasting the full URL into the address bar on a tab that I have logged into SW doesn't work.

there's a KB on this, have you followed the steps to configure the web server address?

The " Solarwinds platform web server address " is set to https://solarwinds.( our domain ). This url does open solarwinds.

I've gone through the steps on the doc "to change the hostname in the URL. The steps are not up-to-date, but I found my way to the right place. The FQDN field was null, so I added the Solarwinds server FQDN. I'll report back what the results are.

Adding the FQDN in the field has not resolved the issue, which was the KB doc recommendation.
