HA failover alert for WLC node

I want to trigger an alert when a failover happens in the wireless controller nodes. Kindly suggest the trigger conditions.

Easiest route might be to have the WLC send a syslog or SNMP trap and alert on failover. Otherwise, you have to first create a SNMP monitor to know which of the WLC is active/primary and then create an alert for a custom SNMP Poller.
