FedRAMP now requires (DISA STIG) the syslogs from the firewall to the SEM must travel over TLS

Does SEM have the capability that the Log Analyzer has, the ability to accept syslog data over TLS port 6514?

Dang, as a new customer it's really sad to not see any answers or help from Solarwinds.

No it does not currently allow receipt of secure syslog on port 6514.

There is a feature request for this that can be voted up:

One potential solution that other people have utilized is setting up a Kiwi Syslog Server installation (which can receive secure syslog) and then putting a SEM agent on the Kiwi Syslog Server machine to pull the logs in from there.
