Anyway to check earlier added nodes

Hi Team,

I have been tasked with adding over 200 nodes to the SolarWinds environment using ICMP for now. Later, we will switch to using SNMP and Agent for polling.

My question is, is there a way to check if any nodes have already been added to our SolarWinds environment?

This will help me identify and remove any nodes that have already been added, along with any specific settings applied to those nodes.

I am asking this question because of the notification I received during the process of adding nodes using network discovery.

When nodes are added they are recorded into the Audit Event Log so you could see those events in Message Center or you could use the SWQL query below

SELECT TOP 1000 AuditEventID, ToLocal (TimeLoggedUtc) as LocalTime, AccountID, AuditEventMessage
FROM Orion.AuditingEvents
Where AuditEventMessage LIKE '%added node%'
Order BY TimeLoggedUTC desc

If you are using a network discovery to import your nodes any ones that already exist will be skipped and not re-added.

It's showing, but showing system created node instead of name in place of user.
