APE error during pre-checks due to administrative service on older version

Hey All,

I have an upcoming upgrade from 2023.2.0 to latest version and for the same I ran pre-checks and found that one of the APs is failing the precheck due to administrative service not compatible.

Admin service version of MPE and other APEs: 124.1.1.2091

Admin service version on problematic APE: 124.1.0.1492

Error in Admin service logs:

ERROR (null) SolarWinds.Administration.SystemInfoCollector.Detectors.MainPollerPackagesDetector - Cannot get packages from main poller
System.ServiceModel.FaultException: This version of the Installer is not compatible with the service installed on the Primary SolarWinds Platform Server. To continue - download a compatible version of the Installer.

I tried updating the admin service using administrativeservice.msi installer from MPE server however it failed.

I came across this thread where something similar was tried and it was successful but I believe offline installer was used.

Can anyone suggest how i can update the admin service before I start my upgrade so that central upgrade feature can be used.
