Servers not sendings alerts

Team,

I have not recieved any alerts from webservers in a couple of weeks.I am new to Orion Monitoring.

Please suggest steps to proceed for troubleshooting

There are two things to check.

1. Are your alerts enabled and is NPM generating alerts. You can check this by looking at the events.

2. Make sure there isn't a problem with the email server you are using. You can send a test alert by launching advanced alert manager, and test the alert.

Any more suggestions. I have verified that my alerts are enabled, and when testing they work fine. So I know it can communicate with our mailrelay server just fine. I even see them in the Current Events tab in Alert Manager as well. . It seems like the automation of Alert Manager is not working. For example if one of my servers go down overnight I will not get an alert. However if I run a test on that server I get the alert just fine. Seems like the automation piece is not working.
