Can out-of-the-box OIDs be unmonitored from interfaces? (No joy using the PollerCheckerTool.exe)
Not sure I understand the question Nathan? Can you re-state it with perhaps an example as well?p.s. good to catch-up over the last two days.
Are you talking about Universal Device Pollers ? If yes, you can add and remove them as and when required.

thanks for the reply, and sorry for the vagueness. It's basically an oid in the IfEntry table, you can see the different ones when searching in the mib browser I can't find a way using UNDP to remove one of these oids from a specific node
In that case the easiest way would be to re-add the node (assuming there is no automation), add the node again and apply what ever is relevant and then delete the existing one - please treat this as a workaround, I know it isn't a great suggestion though.
It looks like a subtle difference in thinking. Think instead "how do I remove a node from an OID". So if I understand you correctly, then you just need to fire up the UnDP tool and remove the node from said OID.Find your OID in the left hand column (All Defined Pollers) and right click and select 'assign'.
Then simply find your node and untick it.
Hey Stu, great to see you last week as well! These OIDS cannot be found in the UnDP tool, this was my first port of call. Feels like I'm missing something...The OIDS in the IfEntry table i cant even see them assigned to the Node in the UnDP where you can manually select a node to see what OIDS are listed. The data is definitely there on the Solarwinds gui
