Remove node from the list resources, still receive tunnel alerts.

Hi All,

I am currently using NPM version 2023.3.0. I wish to stop receiving alerts for a specific tunnel in Fortigate. Therefore, I removed the alert from the list of resources associated with the node. However, I am still receiving tunnel-down alert whenever there is a flap in the tunnel.

Note: The tunnel down alert was created using the UNDP poller, and the OID is assigned for the node.

Can you go to manage alerts and search for the alert and then check the trigger condition on it ?

Have you gone into the UNDP and removed the assignment?

I am unable to remove the tunnel interface from the Undp because the OID is assigned to the node, not to the interface. Kindly suggest how to remove the interface from the custom node poller.

If that's the case, being assigned to the node, there's not going to be a way to remove the specific interface. If the port information is being gathered that way, you will have to explicitly specify that interface in the alert where the name or interface ID is not equal to that specific interface.
