installation failed on Win2016

Hello,

I've tried to install Kiwi Syslog evaluation in my environment, win2016 with aspnetcore-runtime-8.0.3-win-x64 and dotnet-runtime-8.0.3-win-x64 but the installation fails
(server have no access to the internet)

is that .NET framework 8 on your system? Looks like the prerequisite is .NET framework 7.

Hello,

I also encountered 'Error 0x80070643' on Win2019.
It's an online host, .net8 was installed.

Although the installation guide says .net7, The releasenote is .net8
.net8 is automatically installed when install KSSNG.

If I installed .NET Framework 4.8 runtime,
Successfully installed NG v1.2.

There is no information of '.net 4.8' in installguide.
I don't know if it's the right thing to do...

This did not happen in NG v1.1.
I think KSSNG v1.2 requires .net8 and .net4.8.

Hello,
I've removed aspnetcore-runtime-8.0.3-win-x64 and dotnet-runtime-8.0.3-win-x64 and I've installed .NET SDK 7.0.408 (Runtime di .NET 7.0.18, Runtime di ASP.NET Core 7.0.18, Runtime di .NET Windows Desktop 7.0.18)

but the result is the same: Setup Failed 0x80070643

maybe you are right, your installer package probably requires .net 4.8 but for NG 1.2 to run you need .net7/8 as per the guidelines
