Has anyone created a report for the sfp connected to their network gear? Cisco has a few commands that I can run manually but I want a report to get a full inventory. Any help is appreciated in advanced
If you have your systems pulling nightly inventory for your Cisco devices, you can run the Cisco Card Data Report (demo link) to get the SFP information. The specific model numbers are listed in there. I don't know if this will report in the event that a SFP is installed, but the interface is shutdown or not connected. You'll have to check against your own data.
is the cisco card data report part of Orion or is this part of the cloud/hybrid functionality?
If you are still running on the Module-based SolarWinds Platform (previously called "Orion"), you would need to have the [mention:1c73a2c5e9074aa0bd009c7a3da79e83:23b05a61c3e5445190d9bfa00453bce4] license. If you are licensed with Hybrid Cloud Observability, it's in the Advanced license (not the Essentials). [Differences between Hybrid Cloud Observability Advanced and Essentials]
