Hello! I want to provide a NPM solution. The customer has 1000+ nodes. Their requirement is to have Unlimited node monitoring coverage. which license model should be provided to them?
Israt - I know you have a few questions out there so it might be worth consolidating them down to one so you can track all the responses well. You can go for an SL2000 (2000 nodes) or SLX which is unlimited nodes.
You will need to take a call based on the trend (this can only be answered by the customer), how frequently are assets coming in or how frequently are the assets being decommissioned.
What sort of buy in or Purchase order system do they have in their company, now say suppose you buy a 2000 license and all of a sudden you realize 500 more devices need to be onboarded into monitoring - SolarWinds vendor will easily upgrade the license but check with your customers company can they immediately raise a Purchase order to accommodate that difference amount and create a new Purchase order or is it only once in a year that they can do that.
Lastly, what is the difference amount that you are saving if you buy an unlimited vs node based license.
Based on the above factors choose the best possible option.
Hope this helps.
Whooo… SL2000 is 2000 interfaces or volumes. An SL2000 for 2000 nodes is most likely not to cut it

SWQL is built on the framework of SQL and as such supports most of the standard clauses as part of a query. A very simple example query is: SELECT Caption, IPAddress, Vendor, ResponseTime FROM Orion.Nodes Dissecting this query is relatively straightforward: show some fields (Caption, IP address, Vendor, and Response Time)…
Active SSL Tunnels-ASA.UnDPThis poller *should* display the number of Active SSL VPN (Anyconnect) Tunnels currently connected to your box. However, I tried it with my 5520 running 8.0.4 and for some reason I get a OID Not Supported. Here's my post in the forum: *EDIT* This is confirmed working with at least Interm release…
