APM.DynamicEvidence - way ahead for script monitor data?

Greetings All.

In my shop we use a lot of script monitors including Bash, Powershell, HTTP.  These script monitors capture data that then gets displayed in Application-specific dashboards. 

If I understand correctly the most recent data from script monitors (message and statistic) gets stored in APM.DynamicEvidenceCurrent.  

Historical data, however, gets stored in APM.DynamicEvidence.  Note that...

• historical Message (string) data retention was removed in Solarwinds 2023.x (see this thread for the full(er) story:  Dynamic Evidence table - StringData field now empty  )
• the APM.DynamicEvidence table has been marked as depreciated, although historical Statistic data retention still works.

 A few weeks ago we upgraded Solarwinds from 2023.x to 2024.1.

It seems like after the upgrade the widgets that pull data from APM.DynamicEvidence load more slowly, like a lot more slowly.

This leads to a couple of questions:

1. were indexes removed from APM.DynamicEvidence as part of the 2024.1 upgrade?
2. what is the plan go-forward for storing historical Statistic and (hopefully) Message data.  Perhaps in a different table?

Ok, I may have figured this one out.

As part of one of the 2023.x upgrades the APM.DynamicEvidence table was marked as Obsolete.  HOWEVER, the pop-up notice instructed users to look in APM.DynamicEvidenceCurrent for data currently in DynamicEvidence.

This was a (documentation) error.  Historical Statistic data does not reside in DynamicEvidenceCurrent.  Historical Statistic data resides in DynamicEvidenceChart.  Chart, not Current. The Obsolescence notice on APM.DynamicEvidence was corrected, I believe in SW 2024.1, to direct users to DynamicEvidenceChart. 

Conclusion... regarding Message and Statistic data returned to Solarwinds from script monitors.

1. Historical Message data is gone forever as of 2023.x.  Only the latest poll of Message data resides in APM.DynamicEvicenceCurrent.
2. Historical Statistic data currently goes into both APM.DynamicEvidence and APM.DynamicEvidenceChart tables, with APM.DynamicEvidence going away for good in a future Solarwinds release (? as to when).
3. Admins (like me) who capture data with script monitors and then query that data for dashboard widgets and alerts need to modify the underlying data queries to reference APM.DynamicEvidenceChart for historical Statistic data, not APM.DynamicEvidence.
