Solarwinds 2024.1 Custom properties not working properly

I recently Upgraded my environment from 2023.2 to 2024.1 and i am facing issue in import custom property in node management page , when i tried to import the document it is keep on loading and getting timeout

and in the manage application page in SAM setting , I am unable to group the application by custom properties but able to do it with the vendor and other options,

is there any one else facing the same issue ?

I would open a case on that with support so the teams can investigate what is happening there. If it is a bug / regression, support can escalate that to engineering for further analysis.

I haven't tried to import. But I am able to group by custom properties in Manage Applications.

I have had issues with importing custom properties since version 2020.2.6. I opened Case #00968740 and was told to rerun the configuration wizard, which did not fix the issue.

What I found was if you were importing just a small number of custom properties it would work, but if I exported the entire table, made edits and tried to reimport it failed every time.

The workaround was to use the legacy custom properties page, which has been working for me. You can switch to it in the Manage Custom Properties screen.

Did you tried all the properties because for me it is working for few but not all

I did opened a case and they confirmed it to be a bug They told that it is expected to be fixed in next release

you can re-run custom wizard and looks working fine.

I have had issues with Custom Properties getting corrupt and the only fix was to remove and rebuild the Custom properties data. We use custom Properties to limit node visibilities based on user roles and also for ticket allocation groups etc.
