Hardware Health Status to include HBA

One of our servers has a failed HBA (fibre channel adapter) installed SAM however cannot see it.

If i check the server in question and look at the Hardware Health i can see only green (but no mention of the installed HBA devices). If i also then check the asset inventory page i can see the devices installed.

Anyone had any experience of this / know how i can ensure that i am picking up additional PCI-e or riser cards in server with Hardware monitoring?

Depends on the brand of server and the HBA. In some cases you could monitor it via SNMP with a UNDP, in other cases you might have to create a SAM script monitor.  Mostly just depends on what programmatic options exist for pulling the status of the card from that server.
