Intelligent Maps Creation using a defined GROUP w/ connected entities included...

Does this 'Drag and Drop' really work?

I'm working on: Create and edit Intelligent Maps

It 'looks' like I can take my GROUP: 'Test Servers',

and click, drag and/or paste these enities on to the

DESK EDITOR and sll of the 'connections' between these

will be shown automatically.

I've tried different ways, did the videos, instructions, etc.

but all that happens is that the NODES 'Servers' just move over

to map workspace as their individual icons. (It does work IF

I do each enitiy, one at a time...

I'm trying to make this super easy for someone else but I'm having

problems with this one! Thank you for taking your time with this

too, I appriciate the help!

This is what the Group 'looks like':

Group (below) = 'Test Servers"

Enities = 'Individual Servers (w/ connections')

Test Servers

Server1

Server2

Server3

Server4

Server5

Sorry, it was probably me from Reddit. Super new to this, but still have to do things without real training. Not bad so far tho! Just stuck on 'why' this doesn't work. Is there a quick way to tell Version?

It's at the bottom of your web console and should be in YYYY.QQ.## format.

And as far as training goes, you should get logged into your Customer Portal. There's free on-demand and live trainings offered.

Actually I think I may have conflated two different issues, the main problem you're having is about the repetition of moving items onto a map one by one?

Thanks! I can do that but I'm also looking for the information of this SolarWinds Featurette screen capture that I scribbled yellow highlighter on. Cant find anything on that and the video doesn't expand on it. I'm starting to think I'm going to have to leave Hogwart's pretty soon! Ideas?
