Has anyone been able to monitor SFP based on an interface? I can monitor via node, but I'm unable to monitor based on the interface.

Yea, if I leave things set to default I get all kinds of errors on SFP's, so I ended up disabling that! If I remember right, some of the errors were due to having an SFP installed in an switchport that wasn't being used. I tried figuring out how to disable it based on the interface being down, but as you said the hardware health monitor is associated with the node and not the interface, so figuring it out seemed very difficult. So I told it to stop including that in my status instead, much easier for me!
