Appinsight for AD trust issues

I’m looking for some help resolving an issue. My environment is 2 domains with around a dozen domain controllers. For some reason the trust component on some of the DC is showing red. Everything is configured the same so I can’t figure out why some trust components are green and others are red. Server side everything is fine and trusts are working as expected. I have tried the usual stuff - unmanage and remanage, remove and readd nodes, etc etc. I’ve tried searching with no success so I’m hoping someone can help out.

By any chance, are the ones showing red in a different domain to the polling engine they are polled by? Are you polling these via WMI or the SolarWinds Agent?

Got this one figured out but I wanted to wait until we implemented the fix to verify before posting here. The issue was caused by our network team. The port for global catalog (3268) was closed off inconsistently which explains why some worked and others didn’t. Once that port was opened across all dc again this issue resolved. Hope it helps someone in the future.

Can someone tell me what this Trust component is actually monitoring? There are no details in the template. I just enabled this on one of our domains and Trusts shows as down. This particular domain has no trusts at all. It is our management domain and is actually where Orion runs. So I am just trying to figure what it is trying to tell us. It looks like it is really just a gobal catalog monitor?
