Hi,
Can anyone please guide me on how to add an AWS Linux server for monitoring using Solarwinds in detail?
I have installed SolarWinds HCO, Advance and the private IP I am using for my SolarWinds HCO.
Probably not the best channel to post this question inCould install the linux agent depending on distro or configure snmpd.conf, then add as a node, then do whatever else that box needs.Could also add AWS to cloud monitoring and see it through there.

Monitoring it would be pretty much the same as if it was virtual or on prem. The agent is the first option that comes to mind and may be the easiest, especially with port requirements and firewall configurations to AWS
"Hi there,
To add an AWS Linux server for monitoring using SolarWinds, you'll first need to ensure that you have the necessary permissions and network access. Then, within SolarWinds, navigate to the 'Add Node' section and provide the private IP of your AWS Linux server. Make sure SNMP is configured on the Linux server and accessible from the SolarWinds server. Once added, you can customize monitoring thresholds and alerts according to your requirements.
