Solarwinds HA with APEs?

I've seen KB regarding creating a HA instance for the MPE, but nothing regarding how to add APE's to the overall orion instance once in HA. Are APE's supported for HA deployments? if so, I assume the steps for adding APEs is identical to a standalone MPE

Yes APEs are supported for HA deployments - I forget the steps now but it was pretty straightforward to do. Our main engine is in HA as are 3 of our APE's and then we have other APE's all standalone.

Yes they are.

Simple (once you have done it a few times), go to SETTINGS/My Deployment and create a pool between your MPE and your APE.

Keep in mind, you will HAVE to purchase a "HA License" for the peer/pool APE. You get the MPE when you purchase NPM, the APE is extra and in this case a HA node.

There are both APE licenses poller 2 through X and HA licenses for pollers you want to create HA pools on. Make Sense?

@ct123Yes, APE's are supported in HA deployment and as long as you have the HA licenses available, follow the same steps you followed for creating the main HA pool.
