NPM List of switch stacks widget issue

I wondered if someone could point me in the correct direction of why this is happening or had something similar happen to them?

While looking at the NPM Summary page I noticed that some of the devices in the "List of Switch Stacks" were showing a Red Status, with both Data Ring and Power Ring status as being Grey/unknown. I checked and the nodes SNMP details are correct, and there are no problems with info coming back from the nodes. The "Switch Stack" sub-page shows correctly when I check the node, and in fact the switch stack information is all there and green.

 

The switch I've referenced below is a Cisco C9300-48P and running a slightly older IOS version, 17.3.4 which I intend to upgrade to 17.9.4a in the next few weeks.

 

There are other Cisco C9300 stacks being polled and showing correctly, with a mix of different IOS code versions. I also thought it was because the master switch in this case is not switch 1 in the stack however again I have other “working” stacks which have the master as being other than switch 1, including stacks being a mix of C9300-48P and C9300-24U.

 

Any ideas or pointers would be much appreciated.

You don't say what version of Solarwinds you are running, but if 2024.1 then there are some rumblings that node pollers and the like are showing some odd behaviour.  Bottom line here is that if you can't see anything wrong then opening a case with support is probably the best option.
