My organization runs on-premises MS Exchange, version 2016. Using Solarwinds SAM version 2023.4.2.
I have a request to monitor Exchange Server Component States, as described in the following article: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/exchange-team-blog/server-component-states-in-exchange-2013/ba-p/591342
We currently run the Solarwinds AppInsight applications to monitor Exchange.
It appears that the AppInsight apps monitor Exchange services and performance counters. I don't see anything in the AI modules that looks like Server Component States monitoring.
Server Component States seem to be referenced via Powershell commands from an Exchange Powershell module.
Please let me know if anyone in the community has experience with monitoring Exchange Server Component Status, and if Solarwinds offers pre-built templates for this, or if we're looking at a custom Powershell monitor.
