Good Morning THWACK Community
I am having trouble with displaying OSPF Routing Neighbors, alerts when OSPF routes go down and other L3 information in widgets I have created in customer views for Aruba devices. Other routing devices in our environment such as Brocade, Cisco, Fraunhofer, Synoptics ect... don't have this issue. The routing table can be easily displayed in the routing widgets and I can include routing and neighbor information in alerts.
With the Aruba all of the same information appears to be missing and as a result views and alerts we have come to rely on are no longer useful. When I access the Settings ->Manage Pollers->SolarWinds Native Pollers->Routing->Assign and try to assign the routing poller to an Aruba device it can't be done because all Aruba (HPE) devices are showing 'Not A Match' and the poller is disabled. The Aruba devices we are using are
Aruba 6300M 48G PoE CLS 4 /4SFP56 (SYSOID) 1.3.6.1.4.1.47196.4.1.1.1.103
Aruba 8360-48Y6C v2 (SysOID) 1.3.6.1.4.1.47196.4.1.1.1.422
I have tried to search the Content Exchange for a possible fix but this has been unsuccessful as well. Does this mean there is no support the Aruba devices and routing information and I need to start looking to monitor the Aruba devices with something else? Or is there a road map for SolarWinds to begin supporting Aruba devices?
Our situation is medium at this point but the enterprise will be moving larger portions of networks to these Aruba devices in the future and instead of 50 or 60 routers I will have hundreds and we would like to keep our views and alerts reliable and useful.
