Hi! after updating the platform, I had a problem with node definition. The switch is defined as a virtual machine. How can I fix this?
The best option is to raise a support case with SolarWinds, this seems like something that has changed post upgrade.
Crude approach would be re-run configuration wizard in your environment, that would recheck/refresh your website association. I wouldn't suggest to run this as I am not sure what caused this at first place. Hope this helps.

Can it be that it found a VM that has the same hostname and/or IP-address as the Brocade? Can create strange connections.
Check your SQL for Solarwinds and the tables [VIM_VirtualMachines] and [VIM_VirtualMachineIPAddresses] for name and IP that exists on the Brocade.
there are no matches by name or Ip address
We had something similar, and it was because a separate interface we were monitoring (but shouldn't have been) had the same IP address.
On your primary poller run the Active Diagnostics and tell it you want to run individual tests. Look for the 'duplicate IP address' and 'duplicate MAC address' tests and run those. It might throw up something surprising.
