I'm putting on my Accidental DBA hat here and going to tell you that the best way to shrink the transaction logs are to do regular backups.

If your transaction logs are growing faster than 500GB per day, then you are pushing some real data and maybe need to do more frequent backups mix of LOG, FULL, and INCREMENTAL based on your needs. When in doubt defer to your own company's DBA for guidance.
