Map Displays on Big Screens

Are there any Map tips for creating Maps that will be displayed on a big 65-inch monitor? The Maps I've created when displayed become very blurry and some connections are not visible when I put them on our command center screens. They look great on my 20in 16:9 but horrible on 65in 16:9.

Most of this comes down to screen resolution. The graphics (to the best of my knowledge) are all based on the SVG format, so they are made to automatically scale.

Here's an example from my 4K monitor.

And the same when rendered on a 1080p (standard HD) monitor.

I did have to refresh the page after moving it from one screen to the other, but otherwise didn't do anything.

I'm running my Map in a NOC view along with the World Map and some Summary Dashboards (soon to be Modern Dashboards) so the screen resolution has to be friendly for all of them. I think maybe I need to work on icon and text sizing, but I don't think that will help when a connection line is at an angle that pixilates a lot.

Yeah, that's one of the reasons legacy maps (made in Network Atlas) are being passed out. When everyone was running 640×480, those icons looked *amazing.*

But times change and the tech has to change as well.

If you want a quick fix, you could move any graphics away from JPG or PNG to a scalable format (I think they are EMF), but you'd also have to edit them in a vector-aware editor (like Illustrator).

So, maybe not a quick fix after all.
