Can Solarwinds use to monitor the azure application gateway(Standard V2/ Waf V2 skus). If so what are the key metrics are available to monitor app gateway.

Currently there is a need to monitor the azure app gateway(WAF V2 & Standard V2 skus) based on following categories : Performance limit, Utilization limit, Compute Units. If certain threshold reaches on this categories , notify alert and sent to team.

Need to understand that what types of metrics(metric names) are available for azure application gateway.

As you've not had an answer here, then I suggest you reach out to your customer support manager and ask them. They should be able to enquire internally and get back to you.

You can kinda do almost everything in solarwinds to some extent so it's hard to answer questions like this directly. You can spin up a monitor in SAM for basically anything in azure. Not to say it's always easy though.

I dont think there's anything great to interact with it in NPM, but you could monitor stuff through it, and if that monitor breaks in a Down or Unknown status that probably proxies to gateway problem.
