Does anyone uses Patch manager to patch Dell client Firmware? if so do you use the Dell System Inventory Agent to aid in retrieving hardware and software info?
I've been using Patch Manager for almost a decade but only for HP devices. This past year we got a couple Dell devices so I've been trying to use Patch Manager to patch those using the Dell packages. They aren't being detected for what I suspect is the reason you posted about. They need some kind of agent/service running for SolarWinds to query them using the pre-existing applicability rules. I'm trying to figure out what that service is.
