Brocade SanSwitch - Not all interfaces listing

Hello Guyss,

We are having Brocade Connectrix DS6620B with firmware version 9.0.1c. We have added it using SNMP, however, all the FC interfaces are not listed in list resouce. It starting after port 25 and the listed all ports are in shutdown or down status. Do any one experience the same.

If I were you I would run an SNMP walk against the device and see first of all if what you are seeing in Orion matches what the device returns. Can't tell you how many firmware bugs I've seen over the years that give weird data in snmp. Generally speaking Orion is just going to show you exactly what the device spits out from the snmp get requests.

Hii,

I already did that and all the interfaces in Solarwinds is same as the output of snmp walk. This is a Brocade SAN FAbric (with 2 Virtual FAbrics). Upon more drill down, its found only down interfaces are getting listed. Any of you has such experience.

Anybody has such experience, please share..

While browsing i see some Context Name for this Brocade San Switch. However, in configuration guide i couldnt find any such configuration. Any suggestion, would be helpful...

So if you want the behavior to change you need to talk to Brocade. Solarwinds just works with the standard SNMP data as presented by the hardware, and if your hardware is giving weird data you can't fix it on the SW side, you have to get it fixed at the root.
