SolarWinds Integration with ServiceNow using Service Graph connector not pulling all the required information from SolarWinds to ServiceNow.

Hi Team,

We successfully integrated ServiceNow using the Service Graph connector with SolarWinds.

We can see the CI's are also populating the respective CMDB class with minimal information.

In the SolarWinds fields, a few fields of information are not populating into the ServiceNow CMDB.

Issue :

Could anyone please tell us what needs to be done in order to fetch the wanted field information from SolarWinds to ServiceNow?

Expected outcome:

We need complete field information to be populated in the ServiceNow CMDB.

You didn't specify what doesn't populate, but it is documented what should populate:

CMDB classes targeted in Service Graph connector for SolarWinds (servicenow.com)

If what you want isn't there, I am not sure if you can add fields. If it is there, you should be able to dig into the connector and find the queries sent to SolarWinds from the Service Now Mid server, and you can validate that the data you want is returned. If the queries return data, then you know its something with how the data is processed. In the past I have had issues with CI classes being customized and breaking the expected default mappings.

We need the few additional fields to be populated for the few classes for example (server class) respective fields are not populating while populating the data from SolarWinds to ServiceNow instance like:

(CPU manufacturer
CPU type
CPU speed (MHz)
CPU count
CPU core count
Serial number
IP Address
Asset tag
Manufacturer
Disk Space used
OS Domain
OS Version

Company)

In the same way, based on the class, main fields information need to be populated from SolarWinds to ServiceNow.
