Translating SNMP Traps

Just started using the trap receiver with Orion and wanted to know if anyone could point me in the direction of a doc or website that had expanations for Trap events as they are not very easy to decifer.
For instance dot1dBridgeEventsV2.1 from our 3COM 4060 core has been having quite a few of these events but I'm not sure exactly whats it means. I've got a call in with 3COM to see if they have any documentation but just wonedered if anyone had a general site or docs which may be of use?

I have been having the same question now for a while and I just cant seem to find any great information online to help me decypher the traps and make any sense of them.

Cisco's website is quite good, but only for their traps of course.

Assuming you are able to decipher the trap though, can you modify the message so that when somebody gets the email it is the modified (deciphered) one that they will see which is for non-technical people ?

Anyone found an answer to this? I'm getting traps, which is great, but reading and deciphering them is another issue. Too bad I couldn't categorize or rename traps to something legible.

We really need a way to display only the pertinent variables, rather than all variables passed with the trap. With OpenView NNM, we had the ability to do this, but I don't see that mechanism in Orion.
