HCO Advanced Introduced the Security Tab - I do not see the option in User Settings. If this is unable to be done in the GUI how do I restrict this in using the database?
How can I remove / restrict this tab to different users?
I was having the same issue, in the 2023.2.4 build you cannot restrict the Menu bar in the usual way in the User settings. Support confirmed that. I was able to find a way to remove it. To get rid of the menu option completely, you can remove the bar by removing all the buttons on the menu bar. Click Admin - CUSTOMIZE NAVIGATION & LOOK - Customize Menu Bars. Edit the Security_TabMenu and remove the Vulnerability and Risk Dashboard button. When you click Submit the system will ask if you want to delete the menu.
Is there nothing further down the page, I haven't seen this in action as yet but it could be they decided everyone should see it, is there anything that can actually be changed from theses pages as yet I thought they were just to show the info.
Nothing further down the page to restrict access or remove access. We did run a comparison against the CVE Node Matching Settings and now show a large amount of red because the comparison is just based on node type, not if the servers actually have that vulnerability. That information is not what we want to share since it isn't a reflective score of the real environment.
