Hi,
You use to be able to click on the Content Exchange heading and it would open the top level of Content Exchange so that you could see what area has been update, this seemed to have stopped, any reason for this??
Yes. It was altered for mobile-device compatibility. The submenu items are the only elements that are clickable.
It was probably an oversight on our part, but according to our click reporting, very few people were clicking any of the top-level elements. We're sorry you were inconvenienced.
is that more geared towards laptop users when you mean "mobile" as I wouldn't think you'd be downloading any of the shared cotnent to a phone with a smaller screen?
Ok just wanted to make sure nothing was broken . I can access the screen I need by clicking on the sub menu and then click on Content Exchange on there:As it is useful to see what areas have had updates at a quick view like this:
It's an issue where mobile "inherit" some of the code from other parts of the menu. Don't ask me why it's this way, I only play a developer on TV.
And yes, I had a similar argument that IOS and Android users won't download stuff. But there we are.
Yeah - the platform's native browsing is pretty good with it's breadcrumb trail. Then if you want that particular link to be handy, you can click on the bookmark next to your avatar and have quick access.
