Hi all,
Currently my company still have some legacy cisco switch in the network, I encountered an issue when trying to download config through ncm where it failed to login to the switch. It happens on telnet connection where i checked the logs of my AAA server and the error was Username Required. When i compared the connection details to device that can login successfully. The difference is for successful logins after automated entering of credential and a vertical line of credential is sent.
E.g.
Username: Test

s
t
So I am not too sure if it is solarwind did not send the credential and how to resolve this.
Some info about the Cisco Switch
- Configured with AAA
- Able to login through remote access tools (Putty) with no issue
- Switch only has telnet (so SSH is out of the question)
