Dashboard counter widget incorrect

Hi,

I've had the NG server running for less than an hour yet the counter widget shows the following stats: last hour: 5, last 24 hrs: 5, total: 17. In reality, I've had 17 messages in the last 45 minutes. Why the discrepancy?
