Why am I gettgin this error? Intermittently the probe fails completely with Access Denied.

Without too much information, maybe a network drive that is supposed to mount is not available to you, or disconnected? Seems like at startup, the method to initialize this possible isn't working.

The template is provided OOB, uses a Remote Host Powersehll script.

does it work for a few hours or something, give that message, then starts working after a period of time? or do you have to stop the monitor to get it to resolve for a temporary period of time?

It is odd in that way. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not.
