Kiwi NG admin password

Setting admin password, in CLI, during installation gives the following error while trying to set a secure password;

Password should contain only letters, digits, '%','$' or '#'. Try again.

Can you please allow any character in the password, these limitations are counter productive? Thank you.
It would also be nice to have this in a gui that uses correct system locale, instead of cli.
