Custom property query

Hoping someone can help point me in the right direction. I am looking for either a query or a report to show all the nodes that have the following custom property added "NoAlert" and value of "yes". I am not entirely sure on how to achieve this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

To achieve this you'll need to query two entities: Orion.Nodes & Orion.NodesCustomProperties
These two entities have a value in common "NodeID" which will help you to asociate the numbered value with the system name of the device.

SELECT TOP 1
Nodes.SysName,
NodesCustomProperties.NO_ALERT_NODE

FROM Orion.Nodes, Orion.NodesCustomProperties 
WHERE Nodes.NodeID = NodesCustomProperties.NodeID AND NO_ALERT_NODE <> false

Or a simpler version using navigation properties:

SELECT n.SysName
FROM Orion.Nodes n
WHERE n.CustomProperties.NoAlert = 'yes'

When I run the query I get the following error "Invalid object name 'Orion.Nodes'."

I think the reason is you are running this query in Database Manager or SQL Management Studio which use SQL, but the queries proposed use SWQL, so you need to run them using SWQL Studio available here: OrionSDK

The alternative could be to use the Orion SWIS Query via the GUI;
