Getting high utilization alerts for Cisco ISE node however utilization in device remains below 65%

High utilization alerts trigger for Cisco ISE node daily however utilization upon checking on device remains below 65%. Threshold is set at 90% on SolarWinds to trigger high utilization alert. Removed and re-added the node twice but no luck. Running SNMPv3.

High CPU utilisation do you mean?

In which case you need to use a different memory & cpu poller under list resources. Or you could find and open the 'SolarWinds Poller Checker GUI' (if on an appropriate version, otherwise it is a standalone app) and navigate through that and change your mem/CPU poller.

We use one entitled 'Aruba ClearPass' which we created ourselves and originally for an Aruba ClearPass. However, the poller is a fairly generic *nix device CPU & Memory poller which works on pretty much any *nix based system

You can grab this poller from here: Aruba ClearPass CPPM CPU & Mem Poller and then go to Manage Pollers, import and then assign. Afterwards, force a poll, then wait 5 to 10m and do a Ctrl+F5 to refresh the page view and your stats should now match what is on the box.

The ISE's support the HOST-RESOURCES-MIB, which will provide the CPU, so as Stuart mentioned a generic *nix CPU poller will work.

@dharmendra.v.pandey Please follow this KB Incorrect CPU for Cisco devices in Orion (solarwinds.com), if you did run into same issue i.e wrong default CPU poller was assigned to some cisco devices. Please log a support ticket Engineering team a currently investigating this to create a permanent solution.
